About the course
You will learn how to understand and apply lock-out and isolation requirements, identify hazardous energy sources, follow the correct isolation process, use personal and multi-lock devices, verify positive isolation, complete required lock-out records, and safely control plant, machinery, and mobile equipment before maintenance, repairs, inspections, or other work is performed.
By the end of this course, you will be equipped to confidently identify equipment requiring isolation, follow the prescribed lock-out procedure, apply locks and tags correctly, test that equipment is safely isolated, complete the required permit and isolation records, and contribute to preventing serious or fatal injuries caused by uncontrolled energy.
